Dear Friends & Family,
We are excited to share more about a local non-profit called Achieve Tahoe that we are actively involved in throughout the year. Their mission is to provide life changing experiences for children and adults with disabilities, which is a cause near and dear to our hearts.
Carolyn's brother Brent (otherwise known as "B") is autistic and grew up skiing with Achieve Tahoe. In fact, her family spent many, many winter weekends driving up from the Bay Area to ski at Alpine Meadows. Carolyn has fond memories of dropping off B at ski school, while she and her twin went to their own lessons. Because of Achieve Tahoe, B was given a sense of independence and freedom all while building confidence on those slopes. That feeling of independence and confidence is our why for giving back - we want other families to experience it too.
We're honored to be part of an organization that gives people with disabilities the chance to enjoy the outdoors in Lake Tahoe - two of our favorite things! Join us in donating to this wonderful organization as part of the Ability Challenge. With your support, Achieve Tahoe will be able to support more year-round programming.
