Join us in providing life changing experiences for children and adults with disabilities!

Jody completed a week of skiing with Achieve Tahoe this February and ROCKED it! He was PROUD and full of JOY this President's week as he skied with the AMAZING volunteers at Achieve Tahoe. We are fortunate to be part of this organization and feel blessed to have a caring, dedicated team teaching Jody to ski the slopes of Tahoe. Because of his continued skiing with Achieve Tahoe, Jody has been able participate in other sports at home. Many of the sports he now plays were never something we thought would be possible for him. He swims and will soon be joining his high school swim team. He participated in teams including football, soccer and now track. We know the many years of Jody training with the Achieve Tahoe team has made it possible for him to participate in so many other "typical" sports.

Please help us keep Achieve Tahoe running strong so that Jody and others can continue to achieve their dreams.

Achieve Tahoe is a nonprofit that builds health, confidence and independence through recreational sports for children and adults with disabilities. The organization serves over 500 people a year through one-on-one snowsports lessons, waterskiing, paddle sports and more. Achieve Tahoe's highly trained instructors and specialized, adaptive equipment allow the organization to serve just about anyone with any disability. Achieve Tahoe participants and family members often say that their experience with Achieve Tahoe goes on to affect other areas of their life such as gaining confidence to try other sports, becoming more social, and breaking down perceived barriers showing them that they can do things they perhaps never thought they could before.

"Forrest has had the opportunity to participate in a variety of Achieve Tahoe programs in Lake Tahoe: archery, horseback riding, paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, tubing and snow skiing! The instructors and volunteers at Achieve Tahoe demonstrate the utmost respect, patience and understanding with their clients. Forrest always feels supported and comfortable learning from and interacting with the staff at Achieve Tahoe and he returns home feeling so proud of his accomplishments!
