Achieve Tahoe is a nonprofit that builds health, confidence and independence through recreational sports for children and adults with disabilities. The organization serves over 500 people a year through one-on-one snowsports lessons, waterskiing, paddle sports and more. Achieve Tahoe's highly trained instructors and specialized, adaptive equipment allow the organization to serve just about anyone with any disability.
Jeremy has participated in Achieve Tahoe’s summer sports and ski program since 2018. Once so fearful that he wouldn’t leave the car, he now spends months looking forward to each new ski adventure!With their care and patience, this incredible team of instructors has provided Jeremy with life-changing skills and confidence both on and off the mountain. Focusing on his abilities, he learned that he can do more than he ever thought he could. We are immeasurably grateful for the joy they’ve given him and the friendships he’s made.
