I’ve been skiing with Achieve Tahoe for the better part of 17 years. I started as a very small 8 and a half year old, and as a result my dad learned how to teach adaptive skiing and has been doing so for at least 15 years.
The people at Achieve Tahoe are really what makes this organization great. They’ve been there through everything, from skiing in white out blizzards, to birthdays, and most recently, my college graduation.
Without these people and the work they do, I would not feel half as confident as I do. I was, and am, able to share a love of skiing with my dad, something we didn’t think was possible when I was born and diagnosed with CP. So if you can, please donate to a cause that will help me, and thousands of others like me, continue to thrive on the mountain, and off.
