Miles' 2024 Birthday Fundraiser

Achieve Tahoe is a nonprofit that builds health, confidence, and independence through recreational sports for children and adults with disabilities. The organization serves over 800 people a year through one-on-one snowsports lessons, waterskiing, paddle sports, and more. Achieve Tahoe's highly trained instructors and specialized, adaptive equipment allow the organization to serve just about anyone with any disability.

In honor of his 13th birthday Miles is raising funds for his favorite recreation program, Achieve Tahoe. As many of you already know, this non-profit provides accessible winter and summer sports for children and adults with a vast array of disabilities. The impact that Achieve Tahoe has had on our family is hard to put into words. They have given us a priceless gift, the ability to ski together as a family. When we walked in the door seven years ago we had no idea our lives would be forever changed. The entire team at Achieve, including staff and volunteers, are comprised of incredible people. Miles has always been treated the same as any other little boy who wants to rip up the mountain, no one ever doubted his abilities. This set the stage for him to develop his confidence and grow to love this sport, skiing is now his passion. Mike, who is now in his sixth year as an Achieve volunteer, is halfway towards his Alpine Level II certification and is on his way to becoming fully adaptive certified.
