Achieve Tahoe helps hundreds of people with disabilities experience outdoor recreation every year.
As most of you know, I absolutely LOVE skiing. It is the one thing I am willing to brave the cold for. It gives me a rush of adrenaline, challenges me physically, and has given me some semblance of independence. I am SO fortunate to live down the hill from this amazing program. Achieve Tahoe is run by the most caring and patient staff and volunteers who have made it their mission to help more people find their independence and experience the great outdoors. And while their Winter program is my personal favorite, other activities include waterskiing, sailing (Scott, I promise I will try and go this Summer!), archery, hiking, horsemanship and fun days on Donner Lake.
Please help me reach my goal and support this amazing organization in their mission of "building health, confidence, and independence in people with disabilities through outdoor recreation". Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Achieve Tahoe!
