My 13 year old son, Alexander, is a testament to the transformation Achieve Tahoe leads everyday. Alexander began skiing with Achieve Tahoe when he was 5yrs old. Initially we thought his autism prevented him from being able to ski. It was heartbreaking for him to see his brothers leave to ski and feel left behind. When we heard about Achieve Tahoe, we didn’t expect they could teach him to ski. Today, thanks to Achieve Tahoe, Alexander is a black-diamond skier and he can ski any run on the mountain. Most of all, he is full of joy and shows confidence toward any new challenge, both on and off the mountain. Alexander is our hero! He’s overcome so much, making his achievements all the more tremendous. Achieve Tahoe reminds us "if you can do this, you can do anything!"
