My son Justin and I got involved with Achieve Tahoe two years ago because we wanted to share the enjoyment of the mountains with people that may not have the access as we do. When we came across Achieve Tahoe's program that has been helping individuals with disabilities for the past 50 years, we both offered up our assistance.
In the past 2 months, we have helped adults and children with autism, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy as well as wounded warriors that are acclimating back in the states, all learn how to ski. Each one of our students has been inspiring in their own way and they all have the passion and love for the mountains that our entire family does.
