4 things have stayed constant in my life... I have a dedicated family, wonderful friends, I love my teaching career, and skiing is what keeps me forever 16.
Never did I believe I'd be able to ski steep slopes at crazy fun speeds with my family and friends after being paralyzed as a teenager, but I do thanks to Achieve Tahoe. Based at Alpine Meadows, Achieve Tahoe leads the way in adaptive sports and recreation for people with disabilities. Their staff and volunteers can accommodate almost ANYone with ANY disability. It's a non-profit my brother Jon now volunteers for and a program I hold dear to my heart. Any financial support you can give big or small would be so appreciated.
